Muted Peach Summer Micro-Wedding

Planning a wedding in the time of COVID-19 is challenging. Most couples have had to adjust their plans or reschedule their big day while some couples have chosen to have a small wedding instead of a larger event. We've decorated quite a few of these small weddings and micro-weddings this spring and summer and this wedding is a prime example.
For this gorgeous micro-wedding, we used muted peach blooms in an organic style. This couple chose key pieces like bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids, boutonnieres for the groom & groomsmen, and foliage accents for the welcome sign and reception tables.
For the bride’s cascading bouquet, I chose soft peach, plum, and blush blooms like roses, stock, butterfly ranunculus, astilbe, carnations, Queen Anne’s Lace, dusty miller, and assorted foliage.. The bridemaid’s bouquets were a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet.
Check out the images below and come back for tomorrow’s post detailing all the flowers used in this gorgeous bridal bouquet!

Victoria is Polish and she wanted to honor her heritage at this shoot. She brought me pictures of Polish and Slavic folk art flower crowns. Traditionally, flower crowns were worn by brides in rural Poland ceremonially as a symbol of the rite of passage of marriage. Victoria asked me to design a colorful, fun, modern crown for her to wear and a matching lapel for her fiance, Tim.
