Floral & plant Care

Fresh flowers: Vase Arrangements

  • Top off the water! Check that your arrangement has enough water and that all the stems are submerged. (Sometimes there are spills during delivery.)

  • Please put a protective material under your arrangement to protect the surface from water damage due to spillage.

  • Change the water whenever it gets cloudy or if the level falls below the stems.

If possible, lift the arrangement out of the vase, rinse the vase & add clean water. Trim the stems at this time as well.

If it is not possible to remove the flowers, flush the arrangement until it’s clean. (Hold the arrangement under the tap & let the water run through until it’s clean.)

  • Placing your arrangement in direct sunlight may shorten the life of your arrangement.

  • Do not place your flowers directly under a heater vent or too close to a heat source. This can dry out the flowers and shorten their life.

Do not leave flowers in a hot car! (They will cook.)

  • Do not place your flowers in the direct path of an A/C or fan. This can dry out the flowers and shorten their life.

Do not expose flowers to temperatures below 36 degrees (f). This includes wind chill! Even exposure of a few moments can damage delicate petals.
