Summer Pink Peony Wedding Flowers

Photos: Julia Stroud Photo

Peonies, peonies, peonies! Marisa came to me with the most lovely photos of peonies to inspire her wedding flowers. A color palette of pinks, blushes, and corals is a summertime favorite of mine. I knew her aesthetic was destined for sweetness and we quickly picked the perfect flowers for her wedding at St Catherine’s at Bell Gable!

For her bouquet, we used gorgeous pink peonies, White O’Hara Garden Roses, blush stock, pale pink mini carnations, and peach AND pink ranunculus! The bouquet had so much dimension and texture and was the perfect example of what I call a semi-organic style. For the finishing touch, the groom’s bout featured sweet pink spray rose bloom.

For the ceremony, we designed 2 large, tall arrangements to accent the chapel altar. Trailing dollar eucalyptus and silver dollar eucalyptus, were accented with textured peonies, fluffy stock, and dramatic roses of all sizes and shades of pink.

For the reception at Bordino’s, we designed small centerpieces filled with blush carnations, magenta peonies, and blush stock. The altar pieces were repurposed as sweetheart table decor because we love to design multi-purpose pieces! Finally, we artfully arranged a cascade of Garden Roses, carnations, and ranunculus down the 3 tier wedding cake from Rick’s Bakery.
