Wednesday: What's In It?

For Sydney’s bouquet, we used bright pink standard roses, blush spray roses, peach ranunculus, and orange celosia to bring the brightness, then we contrasted those with deep red kangaroo paw and maroon scabiosa. The end result was a classic round shape with the most rich colors. It looked amazing next to her ethereal gown with fabulous sleeves. For Jeff, we designed one of our favorite types of boutonnieres, a floral pocket square!

Wednesday: What's In It?

For Jennifer’s bouquet we featured, lavender “Amnesia” roses, plum ranunculus, amethyst aster (her favorite flower & a special request), mauve orchids, and maroon hanging amaranthus. To add the color contrast she was looking for we used blue eryngium, white standard roses, green Italian Ruscus, and sage dollar eucalyptus.

When Jennifer and Bronwyn came to me with a vision of purples, lavenders, and burgundies for their wedding at the gorgeous Cooper Chapel, I was beyond excited! Selfishly, purple is my favorite color and even Rose of Sharon’s brand colors are purple! Plus, I always love designing 2 bouquets for 2 brides because it’s an exercise in floral pieces being unique, but complementary.

For Sally’s bouquet we used orange Free Spirit Garden Roses, peach ranunculus, mauve lisianthus, wine dahlias, and royal blue delphinium. To add that wildflower whimsy she was after, we added limonium, seeded eucalyptus, and agonis.

For Erica’s bouquet, we used gorgeous orange Free Spirit Garden Roses, blush stock, peach ranunculus, and coral hypericum berries. The bouquet had so much dimension and texture and was the perfect example of what I call a semi-organic style.
