Romantic Rose Wedding at Osage House

One of my favorite color palettes is something we call “Passion” at the shop. Think deep red and burgundy with accents of blush, magenta, and eggplant. It’s traditional romance with a passionate twist and it’s always a favorite on Valentine’s Day. For Abby and Otis’ wedding at The Reserve at Osage House, we designed a Passion filled wonderland—perfect for any red rose lover out there.

For Abby’s bouquet, we used red Hearts Garden Roses, deep pink cymbidium orchids, and eggplant ranunculus and scabiosa to create the romantic palette she was after. To add dimension, we used blush roses, blue eryngium, and magenta hanging amaranthus. To complement her bridesmaid’s wine colored dresses, we designed mini versions of the bridal bouquet featuring tons of foliage. The groom’s boutonniere featured 3 red spray rose buds and a sweet blue eryngium bud.

To enhance the geometric arbor, we designed 2 arrangements filled with foliage! Italian Ruscus, dollar eucalyptus, agonis cascaded together with red roses, mauve carnations, and blue eryngium intertwined. It was the perfect modern fairytale arbor of Abby and Otis’ dreams!

For the reception, we designed 2 centerpieces, 1 low and 1 tall, to give the room height. The low centerpiece featured loose foliage and blooms surrounding 3 floating votive candles. The high centerpiece was a gorgeous arrangement filled with foliage, roses, and carnations that sat atop gold harlot stands. To finish it off, the gold adorned cake was accented with red roses, purple scabiosa, and blush roses. Together with the icing work—it was absolutely gorgeous!

The talented Corrie Childers photographed this stunning event, coordinated by the amazing Lily Lantz of Amanda Reed Weddings! Take a look at their magical images below plus some of our in shop photos too! Enjoy!
